After you send a request, an independent provider in our network contacts you. That may be an estimator, a project coordinator or the business owner. Each provider runs its own business, so the person who calls depends on who they are.

Luckyheavy Windows & Siding stays out of the work. We make the introduction. The provider handles measuring, quoting, scheduling and installation.

What Happens on the First Call

Expect a short, practical talk. The provider will likely ask about:

• How many windows or how much siding is involved
• The age and style of the home
• What is wrong now, such as drafts, fogging or damage
• Your timing and any days that do not work for your household

This is a good time to mention photos. Photos before phone calls help the provider give you a more useful first answer. A visit for exact measurements usually comes next.

What to Ask a Provider

A written quote is easier to compare when you ask the same questions each time. Try these:

• What does the price include, and what could change it?
• What frame and glass options do you suggest, and why?
• How do energy efficient windows fit my home and climate?
• How many days will the work take, and how will you protect floors and furniture?
• Who handles cleanup, permits and disposal of old materials?
• What warranty comes with the product and the labor, in writing?
• Can you help document damage if I plan to file an insurance claim?

Costs vary by job. Typical U.S. ranges can be wide, so lean on written quotes rather than rough guesses.
